Nate The Great 《大侦探内特》系列是来自英国Yearling出版社的一套侦探主题的初级章节书，销量超过1500万册，曾获得包括洛杉矶国际儿童文学奖等权威大奖，被纽约图书馆评选出为“儿童百大阅读首选”，是很多美国学校推荐的必读书目。

这个系列故事的主题都是围绕着主角Nate以及他的小狗Sludge，故事主要的内容就是描写他们如何跟朋友们一起解决日常生活中的难题事件，内容曲折。

整套书一共27册，语言难度在兰斯指数200-480L之间。每一本书厚度适中，故事部分50页左右，每个故事大约是1200字左右。
