magic tree house的开篇第一本，喜欢的恐龙的男娃女娃肯定会喜欢这本，适合给恐龙迷作为入章的首选。这一本lexile指数只有240L，阅读指数达到的娃理解大意肯定不成问题，只是涉及到恐龙肯定还是有一些生僻的词比如白垩纪、霸王龙之类的。
也有偶尔出现的习惯用法，比如p44的“coast clear”。The coast is clear, 作为习惯用语，就是没有人阻碍，危险已经过去，可以开始行动的意思。有意思的是，这个意思或许源自海盗。

扫描后封面不同....以前买过双语的，孩子不喜欢。这次买了原版的，很薄，比较适合携带。孩子阅读以看画为主，所以拿到书总是看画，除非有音频，才愿意听。这算是第一次完整听完了章节书。中间我不在，听了一半就换掉了。后来陪在边上，还是坚持听完了。听时，一直往后翻画。读后感是很好听，就是画不多，不是彩色的。或许听个囫囵吞枣，但坚持下来就是胜利。写了那么多，我比她更感慨。要开始从绘本到章节书.......之后问了很多问题，比如金字塔什么样，里面什么样....埃及人什么样，这还真是需要拓展...
