一家人开车出去玩，路上都发生了哪些事情呢？一起来看看吧！

Today let’s read The Journey.
今天我们来读《旅程》。

What can you see on the cover?

你看封面上都有什么？

I can see the family and their car.

我看到全家人还有他们的车。

They were busy preparing for their journey.

他们在忙着准备旅行呢。

Dad put the suitcase into the trunk.

爸爸把箱子放到后备箱里。

Mum was holding a map.

妈妈拿着一张地图。

Chip and Kipper went in the car.

Chip和Kipper到车里去了。

Where did they go? Let’s see.

他们要去哪里呢？我们去看看。

The family went on their journey.
全家人开始了他们的旅程。

There was a traffic jam on the road.

路上堵车了。

They couldn’t move.

他们的车动不了了。

“I’m bored,” said Kipper, “I have nothing to do.”

“好无聊啊，”Kipper说，“我没有事情可做。”

The family got out of the traffic jam.
大家终于从堵车中出来了。

They drove to a restaurant. 

他们开车到一个餐厅。

“I’m hungry,” said Biff.

“我饿啦，”Biff说。

“I’m thirsty,” said Chip.

“我渴啦，”Chip说。

They got off the car and ran to the restaurant.

大家下了车，跑向餐厅。

They went back to the car and continued their journey.

大家回到车上，继续他们的旅行。

On the road, they came to a signpost which said ‘Diversion’.

在路上，他们碰到了一个写着“请绕行”的标志。

They had to change their way.

他们要换一条路。

“I’m cross,” said Dad.

爸爸说：“我很生气。”

Mum got off the car.

妈妈下车了。

“I’m lost,” said Mum.

她说：“我迷路了。”

She looked at the map, trying to find a new way to their destination. 

她看着地图，想要找到一条新的路。

Everyone was waiting for Mum. 

大家都在等妈妈。

Do you think they found the way at last?

你觉得他们最后找到路了吗？

Yes! They arrived at the beach, finally!

找到了！大家最后终于到海边啦！

“Hooray!” said everyone.

“耶！”大家欢呼起来。

The children ran to the beach happily, but not Mum.

小朋友们开心地跑到沙滩上，妈妈却没有。

She was very tired. 

她太累了。

1.Was the family going on a long or a short journey?

大家的旅途是长还是短呢？

2.Who is the driver in your family?

在你们家通常谁开车呢？

3.How will you feel if you come across a traffic jam?

如果你碰到堵车，你会感觉如何呢？

我们上车。

Let’s get in the car.

开门前先确认一下。

Check before opening the door.

系上安全带。

Fasten your seatbelt.

前座很危险，所以小孩子不可以坐。

The front seat is dangerous, so kids shouldn’t sit there.

爸爸，你超速了。

Dad, you’re speeding.

我们在休息站停一下。

Let’s stop at the rest area.

到了我会叫醒你的。

I’ll wake you up when we get there.

我们还要开多久？

How much more do we have to go?

我觉得我晕车了。

I feel like I’m getting carsick.

特别提醒

1. 每个宝宝的年龄不一样，基础不一样，不需要完全按照以上文本来讲。如果孩子感兴趣，就多说一点，不感兴趣就少说一点，都没问题。

2. 只要孩子理解，或看图能明白，或家长可以用肢体语言或者指物的方式让孩子明白，就不要翻译。

3. 如果实在不能理解，可以适当解释，但不需要字对字翻译。
